ORAC Antioxidant foods

When I use to work security I read a lot of newspapers or magazines. One of the magazines was Costco connection. I read a article about pistachios and how they are known to reduce your risk of heart disease. I love these nuts because they taste so great. This got me interested in what other foods are good for you. I ran into what is called the ORAC. It stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. Some of the highest foods on the list are blackberries and strawberries. Highest on the ORAC Test.

I like pistachios so much in the past I have done some research on getting into the business. I’m always looking into different business ideas or areas to go into. The USA is the 2nd largest producer of these nuts under Iran. About half of America’s supply is shipped overseas mostly to china and Japan. These nuts grow off trees that last up to twenty years. Then the production of nuts is greatly reduced. It takes one male to pollination a 12 females.

The Antioxidant Benefits of these foods are greatly overlooked. The company that comes out with a way to get people to like eating these foods should make great money. I think more high schools should have better education on healthy eating. I only remember having one health class in high school. Even though that was about twelve years ago. Things may have changed since then.
