If plan to travel outside of the United States you are going to need a passport. So here is what you need to do to get one for yourself.

The newest thing that was changed in January 2007 that if your traveling from USA to another country you will need a passport to get back into the United States. So make sure you don’t leave the country without your passport. Even going to Canada and trying to get back into the United States you will need a passport. Its so easy to get a passport. You can even get it online. However you will have to go get your picture taken.

1. Get the form from the united states. I’m not sure on the exact website. It should be easy to search though. Make sure you have your birth place, birthdate, full maiden name of your parents, and the same for your wife if your married. Even if you were married they probably will ask for this too.

2. Then click “create form” which creates a .pdf form with all of the information you supplied filled in.

A box pops up that you might be inclined to “close”, but don’t. Instead, put a checkmark next to Open so your completed .pdf form will open up on your computer screen. You can review it for changes, or just print it out.

3. Go to your local kinkos. I heard they tell you not to smile since it messes with face reconition software. So if you plan to rip of any casinos just smile most the time. They wont know its really you . haha. If your into beards I don’t think they care about having one. You just cant wear a hat or sunglasses.

4. take your 2 pictures and the forms to your local post office. the cost is $67 for the department of state and 30.00 post office cost. It takes about 6 weeks to get it. If you want to have it sent in 2 weeks it cost another 88.00.
