I’m thinking of getting a college degree

As I start my 30’s I have seriously considered getting a college degree. People have said isn’t it a little too late. Thats not how I feel. After working so many low paying jobs with horrible hours you get worn out. You know your worth more then the peanuts they pay you for your time. I have worked regular jobs and self employment on and off. I go from making not so much with a normal job to making college wages being self employed. The major draw back of my self employment its a roller coaster ride. One month your doing great then the next your making basically nothing. I do my work from the internet. You would think its basically the same market but not really. Some of the traffic avenues could be from opt in email list, website traffic, pay per click traffic. You can focus on different niches. I started off in the adult field with free sites trying to make money from sponsors. At the time it seemed to be were all the money was at. In the early days mainstream commerce wasn’t quite out yet. People were still a little nervous giving a credit card number out on the internet. Basically going with the ups and downs just gets frustrating. Im actually on one of the downs right now. Which gets me to really ponder getting a Distance Learning college degree. I love business but realize this a the most common college degree people get. I also love working with computers. So I would either get a two year degree for computer information systems or network adminstration.

I occuantance to me recently got a four year degree from a college called ITT Tech. He says he makes 27.00hr now since getting it. However I have contacted a local community college and they said its not really a accredied college. He basically was warning me to watch out about it. This is what I have thought about this school in the past from reading some bad comments on the internet years ago about this school. The computer industry has a high job demand from what this advisor told me. This is another reason I’m considering this one. I hate working for other people but you gotta do what you need to make a livable income.

I also have been looking at homes in Nebraska. I found out you can buy a house for about 40,000. Which is super cheap in the usa. You can find a fixer for maybe 20k. Here were I live in Portland Oregon you wont find much of anything under 200k.
