I bought a Magellan explorist 500LE around christmas time and haven’t used it. I’m a big atv fan and was reading a forum last night. I ran into a post on GPS’s so got to thinking I should play around with mine. So I went to 7-11 late last night to buy some batteries. I needed some for my remote control and wireless mouse as well. Now I need to find some good software to load into this thing. They are called TOPO something like topigraphical something. So I will be hunting around were to buy some good atv trails , hiking trails , lakes, fishing holes ect. Its a neat little device. It’s the first time I have messed with a gps so its neat to me. You can scroll around and pick a state and see all the streets ect.

Owning a GPS is great and is a great gadget to go along with you when you go fishing. Before you take a trip make sure you have all the trout fishing gear. This type of fishing is some of the most enjoyable and trout love to give you a fight. Now make sure you have the correct gear.
