Jerry Buss fined 25k for drunk driving
Jerry Buss the LA Lakers owner was fined $25,000 and suspended 2 games by the NBA. He was convicted of Drunken driving a misdemeanor. Buss, 74, was arrested in May in Carlsbad and pleaded no contest to the drunken driving charge on Sept. 4.
He is ordered to take classes with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Buss made a statement:
“I was wrong to do it. It was a mistake I will not make again.” Buss has a home in San Diego County were he was arrested in this incident.
