stairlifts helped my dads cousin
My dad doesn’t have a large family in fact he has one cousin. His cousin has had a somewhat lucky life. He had a rich aunt that lived in Beverly hills California. One of her sons made it big in the stock market after the great depression. As she got older she needed a way to get around her Beverly Hills mansion. She used a stairlifts to get up her stairs. I remember my grandma or dad telling me this story about her having a way to get up the stairs.
Today should would be worth millions with the spending power she had. She paid for my dads cousins house back in the late seventies it was 80k or so. She paid for him to goto private school.
My dads cousin still has a trust fund were he gets monthly checks. He is a sub teacher. He doesn’t make the money he once did but he gets by. Back in his glory years he says his phone was tapped. He use to do political protest, had paid off new cars, house with no job. So this could of alarmed the government. But they should of known his aunt was loaded.
