Hi, guys I wanted to talk about my past runs with online betting. I use to play Texas Holdem and won some really great paying tournaments. I started on paradise poker which no longer takes usa players. What I use to do was play the cheap sat’s to get into the good paying tournaments. For example I would play say a 10.00 buy in with unlimited rebuys for the first I think it was 1 hr. Usually the top 10 or so players would get into a 100.00-200.00 buyin tournament. If your new to Texas Holdem poker you have to know that sat’s everyone chases everything and you get people going all in all the time. So this makes it very hard to play normal poker. Most players just rebuy like crazy the first hour. My advice is to pick up a decent hand in late position with not many going all in maybe 2 at most. Try to at least double up one or two times and just play tight. Let the first hour go by. This way the donkeys are done and people start to play normal poker since you cant rebuy anymore.

A little about my experience with a sat. I didn’t get into many since the site wouldn’t let me play but here it goes. I got into a 200.00 buy in tourny. I think 150 people were in this tourny.
So perfect amount of people not a ton were you have to really get lucky to survive. This tourny payed top 4 I think it was. First place was $10,000 buy in to WPT Niagra Falls tourny. 2nd was $5800 third was something like $3300 and 4th I got was $2300. I should of at least got 3rd but a guy got lucky and stayed in. How I got to the final table. I picked up I think KK and a big stack was raising alot a few times in a row. So perfect timing and I put him all in. I doubled off him. I think I was at 20k chips after that. I just played tight coasting to the final table. I had a good stack were I could of risk it some and built more but I just wanted to let others pin pong each other off. I did this stategy at the final table. I had a nice stack and others were getting short so I let them do the work for me. Of course I would put moves in here and there but I played so tight I didn’t need a hand they just believed me. The feeling of knowing you won $2300 and still playing for $10,000 was sweet. I played for 5 hrs at most. This is still the most money in that amount of time I have ever made. I have played a little but alot of sites wouldn’t take usa money. Another tourny I won was for like $800 for 2nd in a 180 player 20.00 buyin. I wasn’t playing for first. I had such a short stack heads up it was hard to beat the guy.
