LED Light Bulbs
I use energy efficient light bulbs. I will never go back to the cheap 40w standard bulbs. I haven’t replaced my LED one in years. One of the main reasons I switch was because I just get tired of replacing them all the time. Also I have the habit of flicking the bulbs and they just blow out. The ones I use now wont do that. I love the fact that I’m saving the environment and my pocket book. These lamps can last for up to 50,000 hours. These bulbs don’t contain mercury like others.
Replacing a single incandescent bulb with a CFL will keep a half-ton of CO2 out of the atmosphere over the life of the bulb. If everyone in the U.S. used energy-efficient lighting, we could retire 90 average size power plants. Saving electricity reduces CO2 emissions, sulfur oxide and high-level nuclear waste.
