As any business person or entrepreneur you have to have drive, ambition and never give up. I also found out its also good to get advice from mentors in which ever it is your passionate about.
I have started out failing many times and not every business idea you have will work. This is were your will power and desire comes into play. I also found out that focusing on the money part of the business isn’t always the best thing to do. I started around 1998 researching every type of business on the internet or what was hot and making money. I read a article in a magazine about online casinos back in 1997 when I was a security guard. I wanted to get into this but just to get the gambling permit was around $100k a year and the software was a huge expense. Most the money being made online back then was adult sites. So I got into that but never had success more then 2 months. I honestly spent too much time failing and should of gave up on that sooner then I did. Right now I work less and I make more money. One thing I have learned is to outsource or find people that are good at certain things. I do this now with part of my business. If your new you can invest most of your time in learning things such as traffic sources and how to get it vs spending money. Another important thing is to find a community or mentor that can help you in your field. They will help you in all the things you shouldn’t be doing or what way works.
